Apr 10, 2017
Jordan’s female football team has chalked up another staggering win at the 2018 AFC Asian Cup qualifying tournament in Tajikistan.
Following three wins from three games, the ladies made it four in a row with a 10-2 thumping of the host nation.
Shahinaz Jubrain led the way with four first half goals, while Stephani Al Nabar and Mai Swilem added two more each.
There were further goals for Hana Koushah and Abir Al Nahar.
The win means Jordan top Group A with one game to play, and shows they are in great shape as they prepare to host the tournament next year.
From the four wins, Jordan scored 32 goals at an average of eight per game and will face a tough test against the Philippines on Wednesday.
