THREE FROM THREE FOR JORDAN JORDAN’S

 ladies’ football team made it three tremendous wins from three matches at the 2018 AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifying tournament in Tajikistan.

Jordan will host the finals next year, so are competing in the qualifiers for competitive practice having secured their place as hosts already, but they made it three wins in a row to top Group A by beating Iraq 10-0.

Maysa Jubarah bagged four in the 45th, 65th, 79th and 84th minutes while while Stephani Al Nabar added a hat-trick in the 27th, 61st and 80th minutes.

Shahinaz Jubrain had earlier opened the scoring in the first minute and Luna Al Masri scored in the 20th.

An own goal completed the scoreline in the 77th minute.

The 2018 AFC Asian Cup Finals will be held in Jordan from April 7-22.
