AL NASHMYAT LEAD ASIAN GROUP

 JORDAN's ladies football team are top of their 2018 AFC Women’s Asian Cup Group A following their 6-0 win over the UAE.

Played in Tajikistan, Maysa Jbarah scored four goals in the 3rd, 44th, 70th and 81st minute, while Stephani Al Naber added two goals in the 44th and 80th.

With two stunning wins Jordan are comfortably leading Group A with six points and will meet Iraq in the next round on Saturday.

Jordan are already guaranteed qualification as the host nation of next year's finals, but are taking part in the qualifiers to ensure they are getting some valuable game time.
