JORDAN WIN 12 MEDALS IN AUSTRIA

 Jordan have won 12 medals at the Special Olympics World Winter Games held in Austria.

And of those, an incredible eight were gold with Hedyah Al Edwan leading the way winning the 100m and 200m sprints in her F06 Snowshowing category.

Ma’moun Dudeen took his 100m men's event while Rima Abu Zahra also clinched golds in the female 222m and 111m Speed Skating.

Yousef Khalaf won gold in the same versions for the men's events.

Yousef Khalaf meanwhile won gold, also for his category in the 200m Snowshoeing.

There were silvers for Abu Sweilem, Isra’ Al Khateeb (2) and Yousef Abu Khalaf in their various events, making it a week to remember for the Jordanian athletes.
