HATTAR ELECTED TO FIG COMMITTEE

 Jordan Gymnastics Federation (JGF) Secretary General Nuha Hattar has been elected as a member of the Women’s Committee on the International Federation of Gymnastics (FIG).

The news has been welcomed by HH Princess Rahmeh Bint Al Hassan, President of JGF, who said it was a boost for the sport in the region in its bid to increase its participation numbers and to encourage inclusion and equality.

Hattar received her confirmation in a letter from FIG Secretary General André Gueisbuhler.

It is the first time that such a committee has been set-up by the world governing body for the sport.
