YOUTH AND SPORT PARLIAMENT COMMITTEE VISIT JOC

The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) received a delegation from the Youth and Sport Parliament Committee Sunday morning, with Her Excellency Tamam Al Reyati, Her Excellency Amenah Al Gharagheer and His Excellency Mohsen Al Rjoub among those included.
During the meeting, Secretary General Lana Al Jaghbeer and the JOC department MANAGERS presented all of the services that the JOC provide for sport federations in Jordan, along with other initiatives the JOC has in store.
Al Jaghbeer stressed that the JOC is working hard in cooperation with stakeholders to improve sport in the Kingdom.
"The JOC under the Presidency of HRH Prince Feisal provides a suitable environment with the rules and regulations in place and it secures funding to ensure sport here reaches global standards,” Al Jaghbeer said.
JOC Vice President Dr. Sari Hamdan highlighted the many challenges, from FINANCE to facilities and he stated the desire for a new Olympic Centre to prepare national teams for events.
The Youth and Sport Parliament Committee praised the JOC’s improvement and promised more contact and visits in the future to help further develop sport in Jordan.
