ANOTHER FIVE MEDALS FOR JORDAN

Jordan’s Paralympic stars have picked up another five medals at the first West Asian Paralympic Games in Khor Fakkan, UAE.
Bilal Sa’adeh added to his 400m athletics gold by winning the 100m, while Nabeel Maqablah took the 800m title with teammate Mohammad Julhom in second.
Wa’ed Al Qaq won her second silver of the Games with shot put added to her previous javelin success. Ahmad Hindi took silver in the men’s shot put.
Jordan has sent 37 athletes to the Games to compete in Wheelchair Basketball, Goalball, Table Tennis, Powerlifting and Athletics.
