JUNIORS WIN GOLD AT WEST ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan's U15 girls table tennis stars made home advantage count by winning gold at the West Asian Table Tennis Championships in Aqaba today (Friday).
Batoul Al Rashdan, Masa Al Khawaldeh and Tina Khouri beat Iraq 3-0 to take the title in front of their home crowd at the Rosary College.
Jordan will hope this is the first of many in the six nation tournament which continues through to Sunday.
