SPORTS AWARD FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC), has announced a 20,000JD annual award for scientific research that helps to develop sport within the Kingdom.
The JOC, the leading sports organisation in Jordan, says the award highlights the importance of scientific research in sport and hopes it will encourage innovation.
There will be three annual cash awards of 10,000 JD (first), 6,000 JD (second) and 4,000 JD (third) and a technical committee has been appointed consisting of President Dr Sari Hamdan, JOC Vice President; Lana Al Jaghbeer (Secretary), JOC Secretary General; and members Dr Khaled Atteyat (JOC Vice President), the Dean of the Physical Education Faculty in Jordan University, the Dean of the Physical Education Faculty in Yarmouk University, the Dean of the Physical Education Faculty in the Hashemite University and the Dean of the Physical Education Faculty in Moutah University.
