CRUNCH TIME FOR JORDAN FOOTBALL

The JORDAN national football team has left for a training camp in the UAE to prepare for the upcoming qualifications for the Asian Cup 2019.
Whilst in the UAE, they will play a friendly against Georgia January 25, two days after the groups draw is made.
Twelve of the continent’s top sides have already qualified following the first round of match last year, so Jordan is one of the top seeds and has been place on Level One with Oman, Philippines, Bahrain, Kyrgyzstan and North Korea. The second level has India, Palestine, Tajikistan, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Turkmenistan.
The third level includes Maldives, Lebanon, Yemen, Afghanistan, Taiwan and Myanmar, while Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Bhutan, Nepal, Macau are in the fourth level.
The 24 teams will be drawn into to six groups of four with the top qualifying through to the finals.
Head coach Abdullah Al Misfer has named the squad with the following players: Amer Shafe, Mutaz Yaseen, Ahmad Abdul Sattar, Mohammad Al Dmairi, Ibrahim Daldoum, Firas Shelbahey, Yaser Al Rawashdeh, Ibrahim Al Zawahreh, Tariq Khattab, Muhannad Khier Allah, Mohammad Zreqiat, Ihsan Haddad, Saeed Morjan, Baha' Abdel Rahman, Rajae Ayed, Amer Abu Hadeeb, Ahmad Sameer, Thaer Al Bawwab, Monther Abu Amarah, Yazan Thalji, Mousa Al Tamari, Yousef Al Rawashdeh, Mahmoud Mardi, Baha' Faisal and Hamzeh Al Dardour.
