AL BASHAYREH WINS ASIAN GOLD

Yazan Al Bashayreh has taken gold in the Under 16 category at the Asian Chess Championships Al Ain, UAE. Al Bashayreh drew with Lebanon's Ralf Kheirallah in the ninth and last round to clinch the title, with the 58 points raising his world classification to the Federation Master title.

At the same championships, teammate Aseel Odeh won bronze medal for the same age category in the rapid chess event.
