Al JAZEERA MOVE BACK INTO TOP SPOT

Al Jazeera moved back to solitary top spot of the Al Manaseer Jordanian Pro League following a crushing win over Al Hussein Irbid at the weekend, while their closest rivals slipped up.
The 5-2 win saw them move three points clear after previous joint leaders Shabab Al Jordan lost 3-2 against Al Ahli, who move joint second as a result.
Reigning Champions Wehdat returned to form with a 2-1 win over Manshyat Bani Hassan at King Abdullah stadium.
Sahab picked up their first win of the season in beating Al Baq’a 2-1 while Rumtha beat Al Sareeh 5-3 in Irbid. Faisaly beat That Rass 1-0 at Amman International Stadium to move into mid table, leaving That Rass struggling at the bottom.
