NASH WOWS JERASH
Nov 24, 2016
The Jordan Olympic Committee’s (JOC) children’s ambassador Nash has made his first visit to Jerash, and has gone down a storm with hundreds of kids attending his Fun Days.
The character was created by the JOC as a means of communicating with the Kingdom’s youngsters and to date his Fun Days have been held in schools across Amman, Madaba and Irbid.
But his first visits to Jerash – Nahleh School and Al Jabal Al Akhdar School– proved a huge hit with his new fans enjoying a number of fun filled activities and discussion to learn about the role that sport can play in their everyday lives.
The Nash Fun Days are organised by the JOC and visit schools that run under the Royal Health Awareness Society’s Healthy Schools initiative.
Next up will be a new area for Nash to visit with schools in Sahab preparing to welcome him in the next fortnight.
