Jordan beat Iraq in their latest West Asian Basketball Championsip match on Monday night to secure one of three spots for the Asian Basketball Championships in September.
The 86-71 victory in Amman saw them secure a place with Lebanon while the final spot is yet to be decided. The tournament continues tonight when Palestine play Lebanon (5pm) and Iraq play Syria (7pm) in the Orthodoxy Club.
The tournament concludes tomorrow when Palestine play Iraq (5pm) and Jordan conclude with a match against Syria at 7pm.
The Asian Basketball Championships later this year will be held in China.
