PRAISE FOR JORDAN FOLLOWING MR OLYMPIA EVENT

Jordan was roundly praised after an international body building event called Mr Olympia was organised by Kabs Fit Factory Company and drew an impressive field of competitors and overseas VIPs to Amman.
There was Jordanian success too, with Yaser Al Hajj winning the gold medal for the 75kg category held in Prince Hamzeh Hall, in Al Hussein Sport City.
The event welcomed the the President of the International Bodybuilding Federation Rafael Santonja, who praised the event’s organisers.
He was joined by notable local attendees Abdel Kareem Al Kabarity, former Prime Minister; Aqel Biltaji, Greater Amman Municipality Mayor; Yousef Al Shawarbeh, former Minister of Political Development Parliamentary Affairs and former Bodybuilding Committee President; Nasser Majali, Jordan Olympic Committee Secretary General; Adel Fahim, Vice President and President of Arab and African Bodybuilding Federation.
Former world champions Big Ramy, Victor Martinez and Akim Williams were also present to give exhibition performances.
