CAN TAEKWONDO JUNIORS REPLICATE ABU GHAUSH?

Jordan’s up and coming taekwondo stars will be looking to replicate the achievements of Olympic gold medallist Ahmad Abu Ghaush at the 11th 2016 WTF World Taekwondo U17 Championships, starting today.
Jordan has sent 11 young fighters to Burnaby, Canada, and they will be among 839 youngsters in total competing from 101 countries.
The team consists of: Hamzeh Ayman, Mohammad Al Tamimi, Zaid Al Halawani, Roslan Lebzo, Yazan Humaidan, Mousa Al Khawaldeh, Lina Al Dabouqi, Al Anoud Makanai, Rama Abu Al Rub, Seham Al Mahmoud and Aysha Al Seddeh.
First up for Jordan on Day One is Al Dabouqi who will fight Britain's Jordan Smith in the girls’ 42kg opening round, followed by Ayman who starts against Ukraine's Bojdan Takhonovein the boys’ 45kg. Al Tamimi starts his campaign in the -42kg against bthe winner of Thailand's Saran Tanjaw and Atmar Salamonafter receiviong a first round bye.
