SIX CHESS MEDALS AT ARAB CHAMPIONSHIPS

Bushra Al Shuaibi has won gold in the rapid chess competition which is being held as part of the Arab Championships which finished Monday in Sudan.
Bushra also took bronze in the classic chess competition, where she showed great mental toughness against high quality opposition.
Meanwhile, Ghaida' Al Attar won three medals, a silver in classic chess and two bronze in blitz and rapid chess, and Ahmad Al Khateeb took bronze in the classic chess.
It meant all three Jordanians entered won medals against quality competition from Algeria, Palestine, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the host country Sudan.
