JORDAN EXITS U17 WORLD CUP

Jordan lost its third and final group game at the weekend to exit the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup which now enters the quarter-final stage across Amman, Zarqa and Irbid.
Following two defeats against Spain and Mexico, the gallant youngsters lost their third Group A match against New Zealand 5-0 in Zarqa.
It was a tremendous learning experience for the Jordan team who were up against countries ranked far higher on the global standings, but the matches will place them well for the future.
The quarter final fixtures are:
Wednesday
Mexico v Venezuela
Germany v Spain
Thursday
Korea DPR v Ghana
Japan v England
