OLYMPIANS ARRIVE HOME TO HEROES WELCOME

Jordan’s Olympic team arrived home to a hero’s welcome at Queen Alia International Airport.
Led out by taekwondo gold medal winner Ahmad Abu Ghaush, the winner of Jordan’s first ever Olympic medal, the athletes, coaches and officials were greeted by HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) President, HRH Prince Al Hassan Bin Talal, Higher Council of Self-defense Sports President, HRH Prince Rashid Bin Al Hassan, Taekwondo Federation President, Lana Al Jaghbeer, JOC Secretary General, Officials and members of the delegation’s families.
The efforts of the delegation were praised in the way they represented Jordan in Rio de Janeiro before HRH Prince Rashid accompanied Ahmad Abu Ghaush and the Olympic team to Prince Rahsid Hall in Al Hussein Sport City to celebrate with the taekwondo family.
