Jun 23, 2016
Tickets for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016 have gone on sale.
The tournament will welcome the world’s best 16 teams to Jordan from September 30 October 21, and organisers have made tickets available at prices affordable to Jordanians and their families.
The announcement also marked 100 days to go until the big kick off with tickets available at prices from two to 50 Jordanian Dinars across all categories.
During the press conference, Local Organising Committee CEO, Samar Nassar explained that, in addition to Individual tickets, there are a variety of packages available for each match - Family, School, and Group - all of which are offered at discounted prices. Venue packages of various categories are also available, allowing spectators to purchase tickets and packages for all matches at a particular venue at a reduced cost.
Tickets will go on sale in two phases: The first phase will consist of online sales offered through the official ticketing website http://www.fifa.com/u17womensworldcup/organisation/ticketing/index.html until July 31.
For the first two weeks, tournament tickets will be available exclusively to card holders of VISA - a FIFA partner and the tournament’s preferred payment method - after which they can be purchased using all payment methods. Moreover, all fans who purchase their tickets online during the first phase will enjoy a 15 percent discount.
From August 1, the second phase of the ticketing campaign will commence, with tickets sold online and at mobile points-of-sale, which will travel along with the nationwide trophy tour and other events in the run-up to the tournament. From September 1 until October 21, tickets will be sold at fixed points-of-sale in all three host cities – Amman, Zarqa and Irbid - where four all-seater stadia have been constructed and upgraded on par with international standards.
