ANOTHER JORDAN BOXER EDGES CLOSER TO OLYMPICS

Jordan’s Obadah Al Kisbeh has won his second match at the World Qualifications Tournament in Azerbaijan to step closer to booking a place at this summer’s Olympic Games. Al Kisbeh beat Tajikistan's Aziz Bebtove, following up his opening round win over Guatemala's Daniel Tubar, to reach the last 16 against Tunisia's Ahmad Maijari on Thursday. He will need to reach the semi-finals to guarantee a spot on the plane to Rio de Janeiro Al Kisbeh’s teammate Mohammad Abdel Aziz Al Wadi will start his bid against China Taipei's Len Cheing Ling. If he wins he will meet the winner between Cuba's Webisi Ramirez and Kyrgyzstan's Omar Beik Malaktove.
