Jordanian skier completes Asian Winter Games competition

Jordanian skier, Sharif Al-Zawaideh, has flown the Jordan flag solo at the Asian Winter Games, held in Harbin, China, by competing in the alpine skiing.
Al-Zawaideh finished his first race with a time of 1:01.60 minutes and completed the second round in 59.71 seconds.
Competing internationally for the first time, Al-Zawaideh emphasised that this experience will provide him with the necessary expertise to enhance his performance in future competitions.
Japan’s Takayuki Koyama claimed the gold medal, while South Korea’s Jung Dong-Hyun secured the silver, and Japan’s Nio Kamada took home the bronze.
