Al-Ittihad lift Jordanian Women's Pro Football League

Al-Ittihad have clinched the 6th Jordanian Women's Pro Football League following a brilliant season.
Al-Ittihad topped the league standings with a perfect score of 45 points, ahead of Amman FC with 36, followed by Orthodox with 24, Istiqlal with 12, Al-Hussein with eight, and Al-Nasr on six points.
Al-Ittihad secured one final victory over Istiqlal, 2-0, with goals from Rozbahan Freij in the 21st minute and Fatima Ben Ziane in the 60th.
Ben Ziane also claimed the league’s top scorer title with 26 goals, while her teammate Shireen Shalabi won the best goalkeeper award. Additionally, Rozbahan Freij was named the best player of the season.
At the other end of the table, Al-Nasr were relegated to the first division for next season after finishing bottom of the league.
