Al-Junaidi finishes sixth at Paralympics

Mutaz Al-Junaidi has finished sixth at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games which concludes today (on Sunday) in the French capital.
Al-Junaidi lifted 210kg in the 107kg category, concluding Jordan’s participation at the event.
Iran's Aliakbar Gharibshahi won with a mighty lift of 252kg, followed by Mongolia's Enkhbayaryn Sodnompiljee in second with 248kg, and Mexico's José Castillo in third with 222kg.
This was Al-Junaidi’s fourth appearance in the Paralympic Games, having previously won the bronze medal in the Beijing 2008 edition.
Jordan won three medals in Paris, with powerlifters Omar Qaradeh (-49kg) and Abdelkarim Khattab (-97kg) claiming gold medals, and Ahmad Hindi won bronze in the F34 shot put event.
