Al-Shneiti just misses out on Paralympic medal

Powerlifter Mohammad Al-Shneiti has just missed out on the medals after finishing fifth in Paralympic Games in Paris, France.
Al-Shneiti competed in the 54kg weight category on Wednesday evening, marking his first appearance in the Paralympics.
He managed to lift a brilliant 176kg, but it wasn’t quite enough as Kazakhstan's David Degtyarev won gold medal with a lift of 188kg.
Earlier, teammate Omar Qaradeh opened Jordan's participation in the Paris 2024 Paralympics by winning the gold medal in the 49kg category.
