The Jordan Olympic Committee is showing its support to the centenary of the Great Arab Revolt by taking part in the Renaissance March in Amman on June 3.
More than 200 stars from a number of national sports teams will be joined by Nash, the JOC’s Ambassador for Children, at the celebration which gets underway from Al Hussein Park.
They will also be joined by sports officials who will bring a blaze of sporting colour to the day which provides a mix of entertainment and educational activities for the whole family to celebrate 100 years since the historic event.
"There is double reason for us all to celebrate with 70 years of Jordan independence of and 100 years since the Great Arab Revolt,” said Lana Al Jaghbeer, Secretary General of the JOC. “We are honoured as a sports family to be a part of these two remarkable landmarks.”
