YOUNGSTER STARS AT BISHARAT GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

FIFTEEN-year-old golfer Abdullah Al Otaibi finished a brilliant second in the Bisharat Senior Golf Championship, underlining the growing potential of Jordan’s young players.
Abdullah shot a 67 which was one behind the eventual winner, American Ben Harold on 66. Former board member Dawood Al Kurd was third.
Abdullah recently represented Jordan in the Arab Juniors Championship with youngster Shergo Al Kurdi with the pair finishing third.
He trains up to six hours daily and is being earmarked for big things in the future.
