Hussein Ishaish joins brother at Olympics

Jordan’s have qualified a third boxer to this summer’s Olympics in Paris after Hussein Ishaish won his -80kg quarter-final bout at the event in Bangkok, Thailand.
Ishaish qualified the day after his younger brother Zeyad booked his spot, and it will be a third consecutive appearance for Hussein at an Olympic Games.
He qualified by beating Armenia’s Rafael Hovhannisyan, joining his brother and Obada Al-Kasbeh on the place to France this summer.
His success takes Jordan’s number of qualified athletes to nine, including Taekwondo’s Juliana Al-Sadeq, Rama Abu Rab, Zaid Mustafa, and Saleh Al-Sharabaty; Gymnast, Ahmad Abu Al-Soud; and Table Tennis player Zaid Abu Yamen.
