World gold for Abu Al-Soud

Ahmad Abu Al-Soud has continued to prove he is one of the best gymnasts in the world with gold at the first round of the FIG World Challenge Cup, hosted by Antalya, Turkey.
Abu Al-Soud succeeded clinched the gold medal after scoring 14.900 points in the final of the Pommel Horse, surpassing Kazakhstan’s Nariman Kurbanov, who scored 14.850 points, followed by the Ukrainian athlete, Radomyr Stelmakh, with 14.000 points in third place.
The win was perfect timing ahead of the final round of the World Cup series, which will be held in Doha, Qatar, from April 17-20, the final qualifying event for the Paris 2024 Olympics, with Abu Al-Saud now on the brink of Olympic qualification.
