Jordan move to five World Powerlifting medals

Abdul Karim Khattab has won gold at the Sharm El Sheikh Powerlifting World Cup, taking Jordan’s haul to five medals.
The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic champion and world record holder won gold in the 97kg weight category after lifting 240kg.
Previously, Jordan won a further two golds and two silvers with Moataz Al-Junaidi (107kg) and Omar Qarada (49kg) winning their weight categories.
The two silver medals were won by Mohammed Al-Sheinati (54kg) and Asma Issa (79kg).
