More gold and silver for Jordan at World Powerlifting

Jordan’s veteran Powerlifter Moataz Al-Janidi has won gold at the World Para Powerlifting, and teammate Asmaa Issa, has won a silver medal as the Kingdom continued it winning run in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El Sheikh.
Al-Janidi, who has enjoyed a long and successful career, won gold in the 107kg weight category after lifting an incredible 215kg.
Meanwhile, Issa was second in the 79kg weight category after lifting 130kg.
It means Jordan has increased its medal tally to four medals after Omar Qarada won gold on Thursday evening in the 49kg weight, while player Mohamed El-Shennety secured silver medal in the 54kg weight.
