Karate head to Cyprus for K1 Series

Jordan’s top fighters are off to Cyprus this week to compete in the second round of the International Federation K1 series, scheduled to take place from February 16-18.
Feras Husouna, a member of the federation's board of directors, heads the delegation which includes the technical director of the national teams, Mohammed Ibrahim; coach, Mohammed Fetyan; physiotherapist Hilal Al-Maharma, and the referees Faiq Al-Jaafari and Hanadi Al-Banna.
Jordan will be represented by Ahmed Abu Hazeem (-60kg), Wassim Salameh (-60kg), Omar Shakrah (-60kg), Ahmed Shadid (-75kg), Saif Bani Faris (-75kg), Youssef Nofal (+84kg), Zaki Abu Qaoud (+84kg), Mona Alderi (-68kg), Joud Al-Darawsheh (-68kg), and Leen Haghroos (-55kg).
