Gymnasts launch Olympic qualification bid at World Cup

A strong Gymnastics delegation has departed for the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to participate in the first round of the World Cup series, a qualifying tournament for this summer’s Paris Olympics.
The Cairo round will take place from February 15-18 with Jordan’s delegation led by Adel Odeh as the head, Monir Saqr as a judge, Badour Al Rawashdeh as physiotherapist, and the coach, Georgen Serikanyan.
Ahmed Abu Al Saud (parallel bars) and Salim Nagouj (vault) travel in good shape with serious hopes of qualifying for Paris.
The next three rounds of the World Cup take place in Germany, Azerbaijan and Qatar.
