Para athletes win 14 West Asian medals

Jordan have finished their campaign at the 4th West Asia Para Games in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, with an impressive 14 medals.
Featuring 513 athletes from 12 countries, competing in 7 sports, the Jordan Paralympic Committee delegation participated with 24 athletes in 5 sports: powerlifting, athletics, goalball, table tennis, and badminton.
Among the seven gold medals won, Nabil Muqableh claimed a hat-trick by winning the 5,000m, 1,500m and 800m. Abdul-Karim Khatib (97kg) took gold in powerlifting, as did Abi Saad, while Faten Alimamet won gold in table tennis.
Mohammed Jleham won silver medal in the 1,500m race, and the Jordanian goalball team won silver as well. Abi Saad also won silver in powerlifting.
The bronze medals were secured by Musab Al-Tawalbeh in badminton, Anas Ananzeh in powerlifting, Mohammed Jleham in the 800m meters, and Mahmoud Al-Hayek in table tennis.
