The Jordan Jiu-Jitsu Federation has held the first round of the AJP Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship with the participation of 330 players.
The competition took place at the Sports Palace in Al-Hussein Youth City, in front of a large audience with strong competition across the various age groups.
The AJP (Abu Dhabi Professional Jiu-Jitsu) organisation is one of the largest Jiu-Jitsu organisations globally, organising over 200 events throughout the year and Jordan hosted the championship to increase interaction among participants, providing them with opportunities to gain experience and accumulate points for qualification to the main event at the end of the year in Abu Dhabi.
Three stages of this championship are scheduled for the year, alongside multiple tournaments organised by the federation, according to its annual plan.
