Jordan heads to Manchester for Final Grand Prix

Jordan’s national Taekwondo team has arrived in Manchester on Monday morning for the final round of the Taekwondo Grand Prix.
Scheduled for December 2 and 3, this will be the final classification tournament to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympics and Jordan has sent Juliana Al-Sadeq (-67kg), Zaid Mustafa (-68kg), Zaid Al-Halawani (-68kg) and Saleh Al-Sharbati (-80kg).
Technical director, Fares Al-Assaf, is joined by coaches Mohammed Al-Bukhait and Yazan Al-Sadeq in supervising the team who will join the world’s top 16 ranked fighters in each weight category.
The winner of the tournament earns 100 points towards direct qualification for Paris, with the top six ranked fighters at the end of the tournament qualifying.
Al-Sadeq is currently ranked second in the -67kg category; Al-Sharbati holds fourth position in the -80kg, and Zaid Mustafa is fourth in the -68kg category.
