Jordan finishes with record haul at Asian Para Games

Jordan have won a brilliant seven medals at the 4th Asian Para Games which have concluded in Hangzhou, China.
The record haul marks tremendous progress for para sports in Jordan, with powerlifters leading the way with five medals won by their six athletes.
Overall, Jordan finished with four gold, two silver and one bronze medal, with athletes competing in paralifting, goalball, athletics, and table tennis.
The delegation finished in 15th position overall, second among the Arab nations behind the UAE who secured 11 medals.
The host nation China topped the medals table, with an incredible total of 521 medals won, including 214 gold, while Iran and Japan came in second and third place respectively.

Omar Qarada: Gold (Paralifting, 49kg)
Nabeel Mqaabal: Gold (Para-Athletics, 1500 meters, T13)
Abdul-Kareem Khattab: Gold (Paralifting, 88kg)
Ahmad Hindi: Gold (Shot Put, F34)
Asma'a Issa: Silver (Paratlifting, 79kg)
Tharwat Al-Hajjaj: Silver (Paralifting, 86kg)
Jameel Shibli: Bronze (Paralifting +107kg).
