JU-JITSU TEAM LAUNCHES ASIAN GAMES MEDAL BID

The Ju-Jitsu has launched its bid for medals at the 19th Asian Games, hosted by Hangzhou, China.
Khalil Al-Arnaout and Abdullah Jaweesh competed in the -62kg category with the former winning three matches before losing out in the bronze medal match to Saudi Arabia's Mohammad Abdulmalik.
Jaweesh won his first bout against Kyrgyzstan's Nur Sultan Arzymatov before losing in the round of 16 to Kazakhstan's Nurteiev Drakhan.
Abdul Karim Al-Rashid won his first bout against Uzbekistan's Nabiev Kasajon but klost to to South Korea’s Seong Hyun.
The national team will continue its participation on Friday, with Yasmin Al-Alami (-52kg) and Mahmoud Jabr (-77kg) competing in their respective weight categories on Friday.
