ISHAISH SUFFERS ASIAN GAMES EXIT

Ziad Ishaish has suffered a defeat at the 19th Asian Games, losing to Japanese boxer Sewon Okazawa in the round of 16.
Jordan’s Olympian lost to the 2021 World Champion in Hangzhou, China in the -71kg weight category by the narrowest of margins.
But Jordan continues its boxing participation on Friday, when his older brother, Hussein, will face Indonesia’s Mosquita Michel in the Round of 16 for the -80kg weight category.
Hanan Nasar will compete against the Indian boxer, Zareen, in the quarter-finals of the -50kg competition.
