3X3 TEAMS LAUNCH ASIAN GAMES CAMPAIGN

Jordan’s men and women’s 3x3 basketballers have launched their campaigns on Monday at the 19th Asian Games in the Chinese city of Hangzhou.
The women team, composed of Zakra Shhadah, Masa Al-Noubani, Janset Yaltchan and Maria Wahab, walked over the Philippines due to their withdrawal and will play their second Group 3 match against Mongolia on Wednesday, before concluding against Hong Kong on Friday.
The men, consisting of Aqef Al-Shayyab, Mahmoud Al-Hazaimeh, Adham Al-Dajani and Ali Kanaan, lost their opener to The Philippines 8-13.
Tomorrow, they meet Mongolia in Group 1 and on Wednesday they face Chinese Taipei. They will conclude the group stage on Friday against Hong Kong.
The top team from each group advances to the quarter-finals, while the teams that finish second and third in each group will compete in the qualification round for a chance to reach the quarter-finals.
