BRONZE FOR DWEIK IN DUBAI

Hatem Dweik has won a bronze medal at the Al Ahli Dubai Karate Championships which are a part of the Global League.
Dweik won his medal in the 75kg category after winning five matched but losing his semi final.
Meanwhile, teammate Bashar Al Najjar has qualified for the final in the 67kg category and will fight Egypt's Ali Al Sawi.
Huda Jaber was injured in her 61kg semifinal match and withdrew while Mahmoud Al Sajjan will also compete in the 84kg category.
The juniors have also done well in Dubai with two silver medals for Yazan Al Weher (63kg) and Aseel Al Naimi (59kg) and three bronze for Rakan Al Drous (67kg), Joud Al Drous (45kg) and Mohammad Fahed Sami (61kg).
The tournament is being held with the participation of 41 teams from Asia and Africa.
