JOC HOLDS ANTI-DOPING SEMINAR

The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) is hosting an Anti-Doping seminar tomorrow at 10 am at the Mohammad Ali Bedair amphitheater at Jordan University titled "Ethics in Fighting Doping and Sport Integrity.”
Under the patronage of HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein and in cooperation with the Jordan Anti-Doping Organization (JADO) and Jordan University, the seminar aims to raise awareness about athletes’ health and the negative impact of steroids.
"The Anti-Doping issue is a priority for the JOC which is why we came up with this idea to hold this seminar in cooperation with JADO and Jordan University,” said Lana Al Jaghbeer, JOC Secretary General.
"We are also looking to see that the regulations of Anti-Doping are active very soon so we can fight this danger in our society.”
The first session of the seminar will be led by Al Jaghbeer and Dr. Walid Al Rahahleh, and will feature guest lectures by Dr. Michael Makanai and Dr. Ekhleif Al Tarawneh.
Dr. Kamal Al Hadidi and Dr. JehanMattar will lead the second session, which will include two lectures from Dr. Makanai.
