JORDAN FLAG RAISED AT ASIAN GAMES ATHLETES VILLAGE

The Jordanian flag has been raised at the Athletes’ Village for the 19th Asian Games taking place in Hangzhou, China.
Her Royal Highness Princess Sara bint Faisal, the head of the Jordanian delegation, was present as the anthem marked Jordan’s official arrival the event which runs through to October 8.
Her Royal Highness Princess Sara exchanged commemorative shields with the Mayor of the village, Mr. Li Houlin, in the presence of several athletes and the administrative delegation.
Meanwhile, the fencing, shooting, gymnastics, and eSports teams arrived in Hangzhou yesterday to join the boxing and taekwondo teams, who arrived earlier from their preparation camps in China.
The city of Hangzhou is preparing to welcome more than 12,400 athletes from 45 countries. The official opening of the games is scheduled for Saturday.
