SUCCESSFUL SPORTS CITY TRIATHLON AND AQUATHON

The Sports City Triathlon and Aquathlon has been hailed as a success by the Jordan Triathlon Association with over 100 participants in the various age groups.
The race, which began at 8am in the Olympic pool at the Al-Hussein Youth City, included two junior categories: a children’s race for the 12-15 age group consisting of a 250m swim, 1.5km run; and the Aquathlon race for the 7-11 age group, consisting of a 150m swim and a 1.5km run.
The Triathlon 16 and above included a 750m swim, a 20km bike ride, and a 5km run.
In the relay race, three players participated in the three sports that make up the Triathlon, taking turns in swimming, cycling, and then running.
