JORDAN TOP WEST ASIAN KARATE MEDALS

Jordan have won an incredible 27 medals after hosting the West Asian Karate Championship at Princess Sumaya University for Technology Sports Hall.
The 13 gold, eight silver, and six bronze medals were enough to finish top in the rankings, ahead of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE , Syria, Palestine, Yemen, and Iraq.
The competition spanned two days, and featured over 200 fighters in junior, youth, under 21, and adult categories.

Ibrahim Kanaan (Junior Men under 76 kg) 10. Yazid Al-Rifai (Junior Men over 76 kg) 11. Omar Shaqra (Men under 55 kg) 12. Saleh Al-Fayyumi (Men under 67 kg) 13. Ahmad Shadid (Men under 75 kg).
SILVER: 1. Dina Al-Jarrah (Junior Women under 59 kg) 2. Farah Al-Sabbagh (Women under 50 kg) 3. Mona Al-Deeri (Women under 61 kg) 4. Mohammad Al-Rifai (Men under 84 kg) 5. Men's Team Kata 6.
