PARALYMPIC TEAM WINS SILVER AT WORLD WEIGHTLIFTING

Jordan have won a silver medal at the World Weightlifting Championship which have concluded in Dubai, UAE.
This championship serves as a qualifying event for the 2024 Paris Olympics and the Jordanian team, consisting of AbdulKarim Khattab, Omar Qarada, and Asmaa Issa, secured the silver behind Ukraine. France finished third.
Jordan finished with four medals, after AbdulKarim Khattab won gold medal in the 88kg weight, Omar Qarada earned silver in the 49kg, while Jameel Al-Shibli secured bronze in the +107kg category.
