HRH Prince Feisal: “This is a great day for Jordan sport”
HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, the President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, has congratulated boxer Hussein Ishaiash who has qualified for this summer’s Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
The super heavyweight boxer bounced back from his semi final defeat on Thursday to win the third place ‘Olympic box-off’ against Iran’s Abdolmajid Sepahvandi at the Asian and Oceania Qualifying event in Qian’an, China.
“On behalf of the Jordanian sporting family I would like to congratulate Hussein and the Jordan Boxing Federation on this wonderful achievement,” said HRH Prince Feisal.
“Qualifying for an Olympic Games takes years of dedication and we are proud of what has been achieved. I hope this will inspire other Jordanians to go on and also qualify and we wish them all well in their efforts. This is a great day for Jordan sport.”
