RUGBY SEVENS SEASON KICKS OFF

The 2023 Jordan Rugby Sevens League got underway on Friday at the University of Petra Stadium with four teams vying for the men’s title.
Citadel, Nomads, Sosruka, and The Saracens have all entered teams in the competition being organised by Jordan Rugby Committee.
The teams all played each other with Sosruka beating The Saracens, 35-5; Citadel beating Nomads, 29-7; Sosruka beating Nomads, 15-5; Citadel beating The Saracens, 40-0; Sosruka beating Citadel, 20-0; and Nomads drawing with The Saracens, 19-19.
The three wins means Sosruka took the first round, with two more round to come to determine the 2023 champions.
