KARATE CLAIM SIXTH AND FINAL MEDAL AT ASIAN CHAMPS

Jordan men’s Karate team have clinched a bronze medal to finish their brilliant competitions at the 19TH Asian Senior Karate Championship hosted by Malaysia with six medals.
The team beat Sri Lanka 3-0 to kick start their campaign on the right foot, and the scalp of Japan followed, but they fell at the semi-final hurdle against Iran, 2-3.
It meant a play-off for bronze against Saudi Arabia which they won 3-1, taking their haul to six medals – two gold, one silver, and three bronze.
