In-form Ahmed Hindi has retained his gold medal at the World Para Athletics Championships taking place in Paris.
The reigning Paralympic champion threw 11.69m to claim F34 shot putt gold, his personal best for this season showing that he is in brilliant shape just one year out from the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
Colombian Valencia Mauricio came in second with a throw of 11.68m, while Iranian Hadi Ghaydi took third with 11.35m.
Hindi is a legend of the sport, and previously won the title at the last edition in Dubai in 2019.
He also holds the world record, achieved when winning the Tokyo Paralympics gold with a throw of 12.25m.
July has been a golden month for Hindi, after he won the Arab Games gold in Algeria on July 5.
